What I'm sure of is that so far, unfortunately, ROMANTICS AND FANTASTS ARE DOING SCIENCE, AND CYNICS AND FEUDALS ARE USING IT, and this applies not only to the fruits of science, but also to the fruits made by science - the titles , awards, social status, positions, prizes, honor... The claims of science to universality and globality are, at a minimum, incorrect and unrealizable, and its "spiritual dimension", once seemed to be radiant, has become much faded and rusted after the numerous obscenities of "scientific and technological progress". If scientists are judged not by their declarations, but by their deeds, then God's image of science is fading right before our eyes, for atomic bombs and poisonous gases are unlikely to be able to compensate computers, televisions and refrigerators. The most dangerous principle for mankind, due to which ignorance, obscurantism, backwardness in science have always flourished is first condemnation, and then investigation. How good it is that facts can not be forbidden!! They can only be hushed up. But not forever... You can hide the truth from everyone - but not for long. You can hide the truth for a long time - but not from everyone. BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HIDE THE TRUTH FROM EVERYONE – AND FOREVER! It is impossible to count (or rather declare) phenomena, proved on the basis of countless experiments, not trust in worthy researchers and witnesses, reliable well-known facts and experiments, if they confirm something that the "scientists" for some reason did not want or could not perceive and recognize – such a position is not quite scientific. And unworthy. It rather looks like the position of the ostrich... But, unfortunately, such obstacles arise nowadays. This is one of the forms of fanaticism, very aggressive and most dangerous. Aggressive negation of scientifically proved facts, well known throughout the world is a symptomatic phenomenon... Here are well – known examples: H ow ridiculous it seemed for the "scientists" when they were told that the "Nautilus" of Jules Verne was not just a fiction, but a fully realizable fact! 1. Socrates had to drink cicuta (poison), because he was free from the superstitions of his time.
