9 information I was given. After a period of time, I would use them on something that was sick, usually an animal. This was not “Herbal Medicine,” as in training to be an “Herbalist”,” to the contrary – it was a “Folc Way.” To say I was captivated by the “Old Ways” would be an understatement, for I had felt and still do, that man had lost so much of his “Ancient Self.” Through “Observation” it appeared to me that most PEOPLE were oblivious to their surroundings, unaware of the simplest “Happenings.” Life passes by the majority of PEOPLE without the slightest idea they have missed anything. Many of the young people I was around were completely unaware of my “True Self”, which is not unusual, as I feel it is common place in our daily lives, it certainly wasn’t unique to my situation. I kept these “Older Teachings” to myself, only sharing with those I felt were open to them. There were so many times I witnessed the outstanding results of helping the land, a plant, animal or human
