N. LEVASHOV'S «SVETL BROOM» IN A. KHATYBOV'S «BATH SCHOOL» AND A LABOUR SPADE. BOOK 4. THE PHYSICS OF THE REALITIES

F. Shkrudnev N. Levashov's "SvetL Broom" in A. Khatybov's "Bath School" and A Labour Spade 307 Chapter 6. Reflections in the future time … We do not understandmany things not because our level is low; but because these things are outside the range of our conceptions. One day a man saw hard-working ants building their anthill. The construction was going in an active way; the anthill was growing practically before his eyes, getting higher and higher. The man was just delighted to see well-coordinated work of the huge team: while one ant was dragging a straw, another one was making the way for the first one, the third one was carrying water, the fourth one was looking for some food and the fifth one was building the wall of their big house... The man exclaimed: "Ants, what fine fellows you are!" "We know that," the ants said. – And who are you? "I'm a Man," he replied. – A thinking creature! "Are you like us?" – asked the ants. "A little. We, people, have known the laws of nature, reached the ocean floor, "landed" on the moon; we build houses and even whole towns". "Then you are praiseworthy, too!" The ants cried. "But, Man, if you are so reasonable, why, instead of doing something useful, you are sitting here and talking with the ants?" At one of my meetings with my friends in my place, when never ending dispute went on among us and the constant "well, are we going to argue again about what came into being first: an egg or a chicken?.." – my grandson of 3 and a half years old, leafing through a book with pictures, looked reproachfully in our direction and, as if by the way, said quietly: "The rooster".
