BOOK 2. THE BATH SCHOOL. N. LEVASHOV'S «SVETL BROOM» IN A. KHATYBOV'S «BATH SCHOOL» AND A LABOUR SPADE

F. Shkrudnev N. Levashov's "SvetL Broom" in A. Khatybov's "Bath School" and A Labour Spade 405 Man. The love of what kind of Gerda is able to destroy the charms of numerous mirrors? What is behind these charms? Belief! Both in the power of science, and religion, and about this I tried to tell in an intelligible language, using the works of N. Levashov, A. Khatybov and some of my early publications. What is the origin of faith? In science : the belief in the ability of searching for Knowledge through experiment. Perhaps, it might be luck. And luck is rare enough. Much more often they just let genie out of the bottle, and then look for the ways to deal with it. In religion : the millennial expectation of a miracle – the advent of another prophet, who will awaken Man from sleep and give him knowledge. What for?! They are in Man! And I really want to believe that you have already understood this. Both science and religion drag the society apart to different corners. It is high time for everyone to sit down at a round table and ask each other and, in the first place, themselves: "Am I doing the right thing? Am I going the right way? Who am I: a slave or a Man? " Time to pick up the pieces is gone. Time has come to sort out monstrous heaps of our delusions and mistakes, NOT RELYING ON ANYONE’S SUGGESTIONS. The suggestion is the mortal weapon of laziness. Is it easy to live on a suggestion? Being not responsible for anything, satisfied with the idea that all or almost all live the same way. Laziness made a dead set at Man today, not letting him go for a second, wearing him out, not letting blossom his talents. You can justify exhaustion, but not laziness. It comes out gradually, imperceptibly, from the moment when a child learns to ask stupid questions. When he begins to think that his questions have long been given all the answers. But it would be so simple if he asked these questions to himself and honestly answered them. But... he has been broken off . At school, at home, and with the help of television, the Internet and other gadgets, he is constantly drummed that there are smart uncles and aunts, specialists who are not only ready to ask for him, but also answer his questions. This lesson, as a rule, takes place in childhood, when they get acquainted with the Tale about Vovka from the Far-away Kingdom , who gave the tasks "to two of the casket, alike in face". But there are not so many who get at the meaning of it. The same tale was told by N. Levashov at his meetings with his readers. And very few people understood it; I got convinced of it later. So is it worth doing other people's lessons without
