3 Knowledge – Nicolai Levashov, Svetlana Levashova, Alexander Khatybov, Alexander Morozov, Fedor Shkrudnev, Boris Makov and many others at the RNTO, which eventually led to my acquaintance and friendship with Fedor. I learned, continuing to do so throughout my life, that each step led to another and another, eventually culminating at a crossroads; one trail maintaining a consistent, albeit effortless grade and another quite steep, as if I were climbing a mountain. One easy, or so it appeared and the other quite the opposite. I knew which one to choose, the so-called “Path Less Travelled.” My “journey” always seemed to be the more DIFFICULT one. Yes, I was blessed, if I can use that expression without someone interpreting it religiously, in experience and instruction. Call it what you will, my life required “Great Effort for Great Gain.” And, it is this way for many folks. So, the second half of my third-grade year was in a new school, surrounded by strangers, with the exception of my new found friend, Seamus. He and I, together, shared experiences, both past and current, learning as we went. It was a beneficial relationship, as we both felt “Different” than most of the folks we were around.
